Assistant Professor
Md. Ariful Islam graduated from the University of Rajshahi with a First Class Honours degree in Applied Physics & Electronic Engineering. He delivers regular lectures on the courses including Basic Solid State Physics, Optics, Electricity and Magnetism. His current research focuses on processing and characterisation of various Nanostructured and Advanced Materials for the applications in the Optoelectronic and Photovoltaic Technology. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 peer-reviewed articles on international journals (h-index 184; Scopus) related to Optics, Photonics and Nanostructured Semiconductor Thin Films.
